Manny Pacquiao has reportedly refused to appear in the main supporting bout of the Jeff Horn-Terence Crawford headliner scheduled for April 14.

Aquiles Zonio, Pacquiao’s media manager, reportedly told RingTV.com that taking second billing would be an “insult” to the 8-division world champion.

“It’s confirmed: Senator Pacquiao will not be fighting on the undercard of the Crawford-Horn fight. It’s an insult to him,” Aquiles said.

Top Rank Inc.’s Bob Arum is working on having Pacquiao fight Mike Alvarado of the US, despite Pacquiao’s preference to take on a more recognizable face in world welterweight champion Lucas Matthysse.

Pacquiao was penciled to make his comeback on April 14, 9 months after his last fight — against Australia’s Horn — but Pacquiao has been elusive as of late even to his coach Freddie Roach.

Roach said that he reached out to Pacquiao several times, but Filipino senator hasn’t responded.

"I usually leave him alone until I hear from him, but I've called him 5 times and haven't heard back," Roach said. "Maybe he changed his number."
