MANILA, Philippines – Former Ateneo de Manila University star Alyssa Valdez is unlikely to play in 3BB Nakornnont's game against King-Bangkok in the Thailand League on Sunday after failing to secure her International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

A report from Tiebreaker Times, citing sources from Larong Volleyball ng Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI), revealed that as of Sunday noon Valdez has yet to receive her ITC, which she needs in order to play abroad.

Cayco explained that they needed both Valdez's passport and her contract with 3BB in order to process the ITC, but the three-time UAAP MVP only provided her passport initially. Her contract was sent to the LVPI just last week. Still, the national sports association tried to fast-track the process, according to Cayco.
