A Filipino-American lawyer accused in the attempted murder of a Southern California elderly couple has been arrested in Idaho.

Paul Mendoza Allen was arrested in Jerome, Idaho, after being named a suspect in the shooting of a Baldwin Park Filipino couple. The victims are reportedly in their 70’s and 80’s.

Allen allegedly shot the husband and wife multiple times on March 6 in their gated community home.

Local police entered his vehicle license plates into the National Crime Information center and Idaho state police located him along with his wife on Wednesday. They are now awaiting extradition.
