The Philippines and Cambodia on Wednesday signed several agreements on crime, labor and sports during President Rodrigo Duterte's state visit to the Southeast Asian nation.

Duterte and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries regarding cooperation in combating transnational crime.

It was signed by Cambodian Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhon and Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr.

Also sealed were memoranda of agreement in the field of labor, signed by Yasay and Cambodian Labor Minister Ith Sam Heng, and sports cooperation, once again signed by Yasay and Cambodian Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron.

Aside from these, the two countries also signed a document on the implementation of a program on tourism cooperation from 2016 to 2020. It was signed by Cambodian Tourism Minister Thong Khon and Philippine Tourism Secretary Wanda Corazon Teo.

Duterte is in Cambodia for a two-day state visit and is expected to go to Singapore on Thursday.
