DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines — Vice-President Leni Robredo said on Saturday that she was referring to the electoral protest filed by former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. when she joked at a recent university forum that there are "vice presidents who can't be removed by the Supreme Court."

"Hugot dahil sa recent decision ng Supreme Court. Noong nag-decide 'yung Supreme Court in favor of paglibing, marami tayong supporters na nag-aalala na baka precursor 'yun doon sa decision sa kaso ko," Robredo said, referring to the high court's ruling approving the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos.
