Former President Benigno Aquino III on Monday afternoon visited the tombs of his parents Cory and Ninoy, ahead of All Souls' Day.

Aquino went ahead of crowds expected to flock to the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque to pay his respects to former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino and Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.

Cory, who served as president from 1986 to 1992, died from colorectal cancer in 2009. Ninoy, on the other hand, was assassinated in Manila after returning from a self-imposed exile in 1983.
