PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN - Construction workers found an alleged vintage bomb in their construction site at Purok Banyuhay, Barangay Bagong Sikat, Puerto Princesa.

According to one of the construction workers, the bomb they saw resemble what they have seen on television.

Residents in the area were also alarmed for fear that the bomb would explode.

Local stories claim the place was an old camp of soldiers from World War II.

The City Police Explosive Ordnance Division (EOD) checked the bomb, and confirmed that it is a vintage bomb capable of exploding.

Authorities reminded the public to immediately inform security officials if they see anything suspicious and looks like a bomb.
