NAGA CITY - Vice President Leni Robredo has advised President Rodrigo Duterte to just continue his job, as they were both duly elected to serve until 2022.

"Kasi kaming dalawa hinalal until 2022, obligasyon namin pareho na gawin yung lahat ng aming makakaya para sa bayan, kasi 'yun yung mandato sa amin. Kaysa mag-aksaya ng panahon ng hindi naman mga totoo yung mga sinasabi, magtrabaho na lang kami pareho,” Robredo told reporters.

Earlier this week, Duterte said Robredo does not have what it takes to be president and he would rather be replaced by former Senator Ferdinand "Bong-Bong" Marcos Jr., or Senator Francis Escudero, 2 vice-presidential candidates who lost to Robredo during the 2016 elections.
