MANILA -- (UPDATED) The printout of the draft federal constitution had at least two "honest" mistakes that have since been corrected, a spokesman for the consultative committee that crafted the document said Wednesday.

There could have been "some confusion" and a "wrong file" found its way to the document that was released to the public, said Ding Generoso.

The section on labor as printed was "not correct" and in another section, the Bangsamoro Parliament and the Regional Assembly were interchanged.

Quoting former Chief Justice Reynato Puno, the chairman of the committee, Generoso said: "Call our friends in the labor sector. Go to the media and say this was an honest mistake in cutting and pasting the paragraphs that were supposed to go to the draft."

"That's why we're correcting it," Generoso told ANC's Headstart. "We have always been transparent."

In one of the errors, the wrong column on a working document was used, he said.
