President Rodrigo Duterte bared more about his health Thursday, after photos showed he had a health-related machine in his bedroom.

Duterte, speaking before officials in Malacañang, said he uses an "oxygen converter" when sleeping to relieve various health issues.

Duterte however stressed that already disclosed his health woes, which are mostly effects of his longtime smoking.

"'Di ba sinabi ko sa inyo I never lied. Tinanong ako sa [pre-election] debates, anong sakit mo? Sabi ko, Barrett sa inom, pati Buerger's because of smoking. Ang circulation ko, hindi maganda, lack of oxygenation. Pagtulog ko, nakasaksak ako [sa oxygen concentrator]," he said.

"Ang brain ko raw suffers lack of oxygenation. Matagal ko nang sinabi iyan," he added.

Photos of a supposed "oxygen concentrator" beside Duterte's bed on Wednesday rekindled speculations about his health on social media.

The President urged women to use the equipment while they sleep.

"Use it kasi kung babae ka, para gumanda ka lalo, mas maraming temptasyon," he said.
