MANILA - Vice President Leni Robredo had to cancel her scheduled visit to Cabanatuan after a mild case of heat exhaustion during an earlier event, her office said Monday.

Robredo is fully recovered but has been advised to rest for the remainder of the afternoon, added her media team.

Robredo was supposed to visit and turnover water pumps to Badjao-Tagalog Community in an Angat Buhay area Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija later this afternoon.

Angat Buhay is the Office of the Vice President's flagship anti-poverty project, which hopes to target five core advocacies: nutrition and food security, universal healthcare, education, rural development, and women empowerment.
