CEBU CITY - A police officer was nabbed after he was allegedly caught using illegal drugs in Barangay Luz in this city, Tuesday morning.

Chief Insp. Clark Ariola, chief of the Mabolo Police, said policemen were scouring the streets in Barangay Luz when the suspects were spotted in a pot session.

To their surprise, one of the suspects was later identified as PO1 Jayrome Solano, who is assigned at the Carbon Police Station in Cebu City.

Solano's cohort, 23-year-old Ma. Ester Montianto, was also arrested and detained at the Mabolo detention cell.
