MANILA - The first day of the relaunched Oplan Tokhang resulted in the surrender of 563 drug personalities in 1,430 separate operations in 11 regions all over the country.

Based on data released by the Philippine National Police (PNP) Directorate for Operations, Tokhang was most active in 4 regions in Mindanao, in Southern Tagalog and other parts Luzon.

In Metro Manila, 36 drug personalities surrendered following 142 tokhang operations.

In terms of arrests, 52 drug personalities were arrested in anti-drug operations nationwide as of yesterday.

Thirteen were arrested in Central Visayas, 12 in Central Luzon and 11 in Western Visayas.
