MANILA - Director General Ronald dela Rosa turned 56 on Sunday, wishing his men would be "kind, upright and efficient" as they enjoy higher salaries.

Dela Rosa, who is at the forefront of President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs, was given a 3-month term extension. Police and military officers are required under law to retire when they turn 56.
