MANILA - Disaster officials reported a phreatic explosion in Mount Bulusan in Sorsogon Friday.

Initial reports from Office of Civil Defense Bicol director Raffy Alejandro said the volcano spewed an ash/steam plume with the height of 2,000 meters.
