2 buses collide in QC; 22 hurt
MANILA (UPDATE) – At least 22 passengers were injured in a collision between two buses in Quezon City Tuesday morning.
A Nova Auto Transport bus (TWM 412) rear-ended a Fermina Express bus (TYX 330) along Commonwealth Avenue in Fairview area, leaving at least 22 passengers, mostly from Nova Auto Transport, wounded.
The collision occurred at around 5 a.m.
The injured passengers were brought to East Avenue Medical Center for treatment.
The windshield of the Nova Auto Transport bus and the rear portion of Fermina bus were heavily damaged as a result of the collision.
The site of the collision is reportedly a spot where buses usually pick up or unload passengers. – report from Johnson Manabat, dzMM
