MANILA - Davao City Vice-Mayor Paolo "Pulong" Duterte on Thursday explained why he posted a photo of the Duterte family on his Facebook account without Duterte's current partner, Cielito "Honeylet" Avancena, and their daughter, Kitty.

The photo shows President Rodrigo Duterte seated with his ex-wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman, daughter Inday Sara Duterte and her son, Stingray. Members of Duterte's immediate family, their spouses and children are also included in the photo.

In his FB account, the Davao City vice-mayor wrote: "To everybody questioning the whereabouts of Ms. Avanceña and Kitty Duterte they hve their own family picture...NAA AMONG INAHAN KAY AMOA SIYANG INAHAN UG WA NAMOY LABOT ANA..."

The Facebook photo has received over 22,000 likes and shared over 3,000 times.

Duterte's 25-year civil marriage to Zimmerman was annulled in 2000. The two remain friends.

Duterte's common-law wife Avancena is a former beauty queen and nurse. They have a 12-year-old daughter named Veronica, nicknamed Kitty.
