Although still in search for prospects to fill the Cabinet posts under his administration, President-elect Rodrigo Duterte is set to formally introduce most of them on Tuesday, 4 p.m. in Davao City.

Duterte needs to fill more than 40 Cabinet-rank positions. Some of the initial appointees include a college roommate, a childhood friend, and former secretaries who already served under past administrations.

They also include former national treasurer Leonor Briones at the Department of Education, and former budget chief Benjamin Diokno at the Department of Budget and Management.

Duterte is also offering Cabinet posts to the Communist Party of the Philippines.

Duterte, meanwhile, said that he has not yet decided on a Cabinet position for Vice President-elect Leni Robredo.

Robredo said Monday that she wants to be involved in the government's anti-poverty programs.
