'Ako Si Josephine' musical to feature Yeng's songs

MANILA -- After her historic digital concert on Sunday, singer-composer Yeng Constantino is set to conquer new ground.

On Monday, Constantino announced that her music will be featured in the upcoming original musical "Ako Si Josephine," which will run from September 8 to October 9 at the PETA Center in Quezon City.

"Kasama po ito sa aking ika-10 taong anibersaryo sa music industry kaya sana po ay suportahan niyo dahil dream come true po ito para sa akin," Constantino said in a short video uploaded on her Instagram account.

Constantino's announcement came just days after the Friday opening of the fifth run of the successful original musical "Rak of Aegis," which features songs from the Aegis band.

Earlier this year, PETA also staged "Three Stars and a Sun" which uses the songs of the late rapper Francis Magalona.
