MANILA - The world's first "game show-styled playground" is set to open in June at Ayala Land's township project in Pampanga.

Ayala Land's 1,100-hectare development Alviera will host the playground, called Go Play, on a one-day festival on June 11.

Jomi de Guzman, Alviera project development manager, said the playground is inspired by TV game shows like "Takeshi’s Castle," "Wipeout," and "Gladiators."

Among the features of the playground are the Agawan Base in "zorb balls," Human Foosball, Sumo Relay, and Extreme Jack & Poy.

Aside from the games, a foam party will also be held every hour where a local DJ will be onstage to play music.
