(UPDATE) She booked an automatic place in the Miss World 2017 top 40 after impressing with her passionate stand against cyberbullying.

She also was named one of the winners of the pageant's "Beauty with a Purpose" segment for her dedication to her cause of building a milk bank for a local maternity ward.

Unfortunately, Laura Lehmann, a former courtside reporter, failed to make it to the top 15, which meant that the Philippines will have to wait at least another year to celebrate a second Miss World winner.

She fell short of joining Mongolia, Russia, Indonesia, El Salvador, South Korea, Nigeria, South Africa, Japan, Mexico, France, Jamaica, India, Macau China, England, and Kenya in the next round.
