MANILA – Philippine bet Rachel Peters was chosen to appear on the Facebook live video of The Perfect Face Cosmetics, the official makeup sponsor of the Miss Universe 2017 pageant.

In the short clip posted on Monday, Peters was asked about what she looks forward to the most in the international competition.

“Out of all the different events, I’d have to say I’m most excited for the preliminary interview, which is when you get one-on-one time with the judges,” she said. “I think it’s a nice opportunity for them to get to know you a little bit better, and you’re not worrying about how scared you are about being on stage.”

Peters went on to share that her roommate is Miss Indonesia, saying that she is looking forward to meeting her within the day.

When asked about her gown for the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, Peters hinted: “I can tell you that my gown is designed by a Filipino designer, Val Taguba. I’m not going to tell you the color, but I will tell you that it shows off my best assets.”

Taguba is the same designer who made Peters’ gown for the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant, where she won the title of Miss Universe Philippines.

Other celebrities who have worn Taguba’s creations include Kim Chiu, Angel Locsin, Gretchen Ho, and Maja Salvador, to name a few.
