MANILA – Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa took to social media to express her gratitude to her fellow contestants in the recently concluded pageant.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Verzosa specifically mentioned Magdalena Bienkowska of Poland, saying she will miss her dearly.

“Thank you for all your help and encouragement, the stage was so much better with you,” Versoza said as she shared a photo of her with Bienkowska.

Addressing the other Miss International 2016 contestants, Verzosa continued: “To the girls, I will miss you. Thank you for all your kindness. Hold your heads up high, focus on the positive, stay appreciative and keep on going, the best is yet to come. Your country and family are proud of you. Use this as an opportunity to do more for your country, others and yourself.”

Verzosa is the sixth Filipina to bring home the Miss International crown for the Philippines.
