MANILA -- Veteran star Sharon Cuneta on Tuesday shared her weight-loss program that allowed her to shed off 66 lbs. in one year.

On the morning show "Magandang Buhay" Cuneta said the key to losing weight is believing in yourself that you can do it.

"Huwag niyo po madaliin. Hindi po makukuha ng liposuction 'yung 66 lbs. na mawala. Yung lipo, you can use it after. Kunwari pumayat kayo, pero may kaunti pa at ayaw matagal, 'yon. Pero tiis lang po at saka paniniwala sa sarili," she said.

In the show, Cuneta's husband, Sen. Francis Pangilinan, also gamely showed the then and now diet plate of the actress.

According to Cuneta, her downfall is actually bread -- not rice.

"Ngayon, actually na train na 'yung tastebuds ko na kunwari may lechon kawali ang kakainin ko lang ay balat. Kung may pizza, 'di ko kakainin 'yung crust sa dulo, yung may flavor lang," she said.

Cuneta previously explained that one of the reasons she has to lose weight is for her upcoming movie.

On Tuesday, she announced that she will be working on several other projects to connect with her fans.

"Magkakaroon na ako ng tunay na (Instagram account) which I will post on Facebook. Then, as my gift to you all, bukod sa Twitter bumalik na din ako, eh tuturuan ako ng mga anak ko na mag-Snapchat," she said.

"Pero ang pinaka-excited ako since marami ang nagre-request ng talk show, wala pa. Ito feeling ko mas mai-involve ako at mas masaya ako, I'm going to put up for you a YouTube channel so we will always see each other," Cuneta revealed.

Cuneta is also set to record her first album under Star Music soon.

On October 15 and 22, Cuneta will also be having a concert at The Theatre at Solaire.
