MANILA - Jeslyn Santos, the first Filipina to win the Miss United Continents crown, is back in the Philippines.

She arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Tuesday afternoon following her win in Ecuador over the weekend.

Santos also thanked her supporters on social media.

Santos is a graduate of Bulacan State University. Prior to competing in the Ecuador-based international pageant, she also joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2014 and 2016. She failed to nab a title in both tries.

According to Santos, who will return to Ecuador in December for charity work, she would like to focus her reign as Miss United Continents towards helping senior citizens.

The aspiring actress-model also said that she would like to join the showbiz industry, and would want Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson as her onscreen partner.
