MANILA -- Cristalle Belo Henares, the daughter of celebrity doctor Vicki Belo, married her fiance, Australian hotelier Justin Pitt, in a civil ceremony on Thursday.

Vicki posted a photo of the ceremony to her Instagram account and shared her best wishes for the newlyweds. "Remember how happy you are today and recapture the feeling every day," she wrote as the caption.

According to Vicki, her daughter and Pitt first had to undergo a civil wedding in the country before they could legally marry in a grander ceremony next week, September 15, in Lake Como, Italy.

Since meeting each other in the Middle East back in 2014, Pitt has been utterly smitten with Cristalle, even giving up his chance to be in the new "Star Wars" film as a Stormtrooper just to get to know the Filipina's family. The couple got engaged in Maldives back in August 2015.
