MANILA -- Whang-ud, the iconic traditional tattooist of Kalinga, finds comfort in watching the top-rating primetime series "Ang Probinsyano."

According to her nieces, the Kalinga elder, who is renowned for her ageless tattooing skills, is a huge fan of the show's lead star, Coco Martin.

When ABS-CBN News visited the village last March, the team noticed her vast collection of Coco Martin memorabilia-- shirts, posters, and a life-size standee. She keeps all of these in a special place in her house.

On Monday night, Coco Martin PH, the actor's official Instagram page, shared a photo of Whang-ud firmly holding a signed portrait of the actor.

This, they said, was a personal gift from the "Ang Probinsyano" star, along with a brand new pillow and shirt from the ABS-CBN Store.

In the caption, they said Whang-ud was moved to tears after she saw Martin's autograph in the portrait. It has always been her wish to meet the actor.

Martin is currently working as the lead star, director, and producer of the "Ang Panday" remake, an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017.
