MANILA—American actor Jason David Frank cancelled his scheduled trip to Manila on Friday, but promised to "reschedule" his visit to meet his fans.

Frank, one of the cast members of the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" series, was supposed to join Hollywood actors Michael Copon, Kelly Hu, Kevin Grevioux, Dante Basco and comic book artist Neal Adams in an exclusive meet-and-greet with fans at this year's ToyCon Philippines.

According to Cholo Mallillin, event marketing head for ToyCon PH, Frank cited an illness for his unavailability.

However, Mallillin told fans that the actor is looking at rescheduling his trip.
