There is a thriving tourism boom in the city of Lingayen in Pangasinan and many residents have started setting up beachfront accommodations for tourists and local visitors eager for some "vitamin sea."

Tourist accommodations not only include hotel rooms as visitors can also rent entire rest houses on the beach overlooking the Lingayen Gulf.

For those on a day trip, they can stay in one of the huts by the seashore and take their meals there. Dishes are created using homegrown vegetables, fresh catch of the day, as well as the famous Bonoan bangus and a local breakfast favorite, the "espada."

Beverages and desserts feature tropical fruits, which are sourced from the markets.
