MANILA – Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has yet to post a "better photo" of her with boyfriend Marlon Stockinger, who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday.

But her reason is excusable: the beauty queen and actress was busy setting up Stockinger's surprise birthday party.

"To my makulit but loving partner in crime... Happy birthday, baby," she told her boyfriend.

Wurtzbach's hard work seems to have paid off as Stockinger was visibly pleased, as seen in photos circulating online.

Stockinger, a race car driver and model, has been in a relationship with Wurtzbach for over a year now.

Wurtzbach first admitted their relationship in January last year, describing Stockinger as someone "who's very secure with himself and who understands my job, and who's not afraid to let me have my moment."

The two have long been close to each other, even before Wurtzbach won the Miss Universe crown.
