All three beauty queens were called onstage during a dinner party held Saturday night at luxury casino and hotel Okada Manila in Parañaque. It was also attended by the candidates to the 65th Miss Universe competition.

Wurtzbach ended the country's title drought last year. She will crown her successor in front of a Filipino crowd when the coronation is held at Mall of Asia Arena on January 30. Among the favorites is the Philippines' very own Maxine Medina.

Diaz earlier made headlines after she giving Medina, despite being an early favorite, a "one in a million" chance to win the title. She later explained that her opinion does not imply that Medina does not deserve the crown, saying it has a lot to do with the fact that she is the host delegate.
