MANILA - Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina welcomed suggestions that she should get a translator for the pageant's question and answer portion in order to score a back-to-back Miss Universe title for the Philippines.

Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Venus Taj earlier admitted to asking for a translator, but stressed that Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) first had to approve her application before it could be handed over to the Miss Universe Organization.
