TACLOBAN CITY- Former sexy actress Cristina Gonzales-Romualdez was proclaimed by the Tacloban City Board of Canvassers (CBOC) early morning Tuesday as the winner of the mayoralty race.

Romualdez received 72,077 votes while her opponents Neil Glova got 23,612 votes and Golda Hilda Cabudoy only had 379 votes.

The CBOC proclaimed Romualdez, the wife of incumbent city mayor Alfred Romualdez, at around 3 a.m.

Meanwhile, Jerry "Sambo" Yaokasin won again as vice mayor with 71,219 votes. His rival, Ramon Tolibas Jr. only got 6,550 votes.
