President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III will be busy taking bread-making lessons a week after he steps down from Malacañang, his close ally said Wednesday.

In an interview with ANC's Headstart, outgoing Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez said what he thought was a joke will be happening next week, after new leaders are inaugurated into office.

"I thought it was a joke when we were invited, so I raised my hand," he said.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Rene Almendras also told Headstart in a previous interview that he, Jimenez, Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson, Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, former National Economic and Development Authority Director-General Arsenio Balisacan met for dinner one time and they decided to take baking lessons after stepping down.

Jimenez revealed that another name has been added to the list of ex-executive officials learning baking: Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares.

"Kim Henares is joining, and she said ‘I am eating only the bread I made'," he said.

With only a day away from President-elect Rodrigo Duterte's inauguration, Aquino may be getting ready to return to his family's home in Times Street in Quezon City.

Jimenez said Aquino is also not sentimental about stepping down.

"I don’t describe it as loneliness. He’s actually very proud of the work. As I think I’ve mentioned before, he’s actually very proud of his people. He’s really so blown away by their strength," said Jimenez.

He added this is "the fundamental change"in Aquino from when he was elected into the presidency in 2010.

But would this non-loneliness actually be because the 56-year old bachelor is seeing someone?

Jimenez laughingly revealed, Aquino is "always dating someone."

"I don’t know that [if Aquino is seeing someone at the moment] for a fact; I just know that he keeps that part of his life as [sane as possible]."
