They had the crowd in fits of laughter as they sang April Boy Regino's "Sana'y Laging Magkapiling" while being showered with water for the semifinals of "Pilipinas Got Talent" (PGT) last year.

But Manuel Horca, half of the male singing duo Poor Voice, had everyone feeling a bit melancholic after sharing that his duet partner, Marvin, died in an accident months after their "PGT" stint.

Horca was on Saturday's "I Can See Your Voice," where he was one of the last contestants that Kyla had to guess whether they can sing or not.

"Unti-unti ko pong nakalimutan pero nandoon pa rin iyong nakaraan namin, masaya kami noong araw," Horca, who now works several odd jobs, said when asked about his departed friend.

Horca didn't win on Saturday's episode but surprised many when he started belting out "Honey My Love So Sweet," another Regino hit.

Kyla herself didn't think Manuel could sing, but couldn't hide her shock when he actually had the voice to back up his boast.

The winner of the night was Alex Francisco, who won P25,000 and a chance to compete for a spot in the semifinals of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" on "It's Showtime."
