MANILA - "Ang Probinsyano" and "The Voice Kids" have helped ABS-CBN dominate 2016's television ratings, leading the 17 Kapamilya shows that made the list of the top 20 programs so far this year.

The Coco Martin-starrer "Ang Probinsyano" garnered the highest average national television rating of any teleserye with 40.3 percent, while "The Voice Kids" was named the most watched talent competition with 37.6 percent.

The ABS-CBN-hosted presidential debate topped all shows with 40.6 percent.

The figures were based on Kantar Media, which uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes that represent 100 percent of the country's total television viewing population. To compare, other ratings data supplier AGB Nielsen reportedly has 2,000 homes based in urban areas that represent only 57 percent.

The other Kapamilya programs included in the top 20 are: "Maalaala Mo Kaya" (30.9 percent), "Wansapanataym" (30.9 percent), "TV Patrol" (30.7 percent), "Pinoy Boyband Superstar" (30 percent), "Home Sweetie Home" (25.3 percent), "Magpahanggang Wakas" (24.5 percent) and "Goin’ Bulilit" (23.4 percent).
