MANILA – Richard Gomez is both excited and nervous as he holds his first solo exhibit at the Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo.
The exhibit opened on Sunday.
“My appreciation for the arts started in the '80s,” said the actor, who first joined group shows before mounting his own exhibit.
“I’m hoping that friends and people will come and take a look,” he added.
Gomez said his exhibit will benefit the children of Ormoc City, where he serves as mayor. “I want to build a beautiful playground for them,” he said.
Here’s a glimpse of some of the actor’s paintings, which he described as “experiential.”
