Big Bang's Taeyang, Min Hyo-rin to marry next year

Taeyang of Korean boy group Big Bang is set to marry his girlfriend, actress Min Hyo-rin, early next year.

According to a report on The Korea Herald, YG Entertainment, which represents Big Bang, confirmed that Taeyang, whose real name is Dong Young-bae, and Min will get married in February next year, before Dong's military enlistment.

Dong also shared the news with a post on Instagram.

"Today, I want to share with you guys about the most important and joyful promise I have made in my life. I have pledged to spend the rest of my life with Min Hyorin, the one who has always stuck by me for the past four years," he wrote in the caption.

He also thanked all their fans and hoped for their continued support.

"To all the fans who always treated me as if I was family, to all of my Big Bang members, to all of my YG family, to everyone I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with and meet, I want to say THANK YOU. I will continue to live my life with responsibility and humility. My hope is that you will continue to support us and give your blessings for our future ahead as a couple," Dong said.

Dong is also set to enlist in the military next year.

The two confirmed their relationship in May 2015.

Min appeared in the music video for Dong's song "1 AM" back in 2014.
