Singer-composer Jamie Rivera failed to pick the right singer on Saturday's episode of "I Can See Your Voice."

Rivera had a good start, eliminating a tone-deaf supermarket bagger who competes in talent shows for additional income.

However, Rivera let go two of the real deal in the pool: a body-builder who recently recovered from Bell's Palsy and a law student who does gigs to fund her education.

In the end, the music veteran shared a duet of her hit song "I've Fallen For You" with Mary Jane Jaldo.

Jaldo revealed she is unemployed and said her P25,000 prize will help her a lot.

"Ginawa ko po 'to para ma-support ko rin (sarili ko) kasi nahihiya na po ako sa family ko kasi tagal ko na pong walang work," she said.

"Sabi ko God's will, binigay sa'kin to ng Lord kaya kahit sintonado po ako nagpapasalamat ako sa Lord."

Rivera meanwhile said Jaldo was meant to win the game.

"Natutuwa ako dahil ganyan ang attitude mo. Kasi maraming tao na di nila na-a-achieve yung goals nila, suko na. Pero ikaw, hindi, dire-diretso lang. Kaya itong P25,000 sa'yo talaga 'yan. Hindi pa nag-uumpisa itong show na 'to, sayo na talaga yan," she said.

Based on a Korean show of the same title, "I Can See Your Voice" airs Saturdays after "Maalaala Mo Kaya" and Sundays after "Rated K."
