Xander Ford is allegedly "missing," according to his talent agency.

Ford, a young, aspiring actor who has been dealing with harsh criticisms ever since he unveiled the results of his plastic surgery, was last seen in General Trias, Cavite around Thursday midnight.

A statement from his talent agency, which was posted on Facebook, read: "Star Image is doing all the necessary legal actions to find him."

It added that the people responsible for his sudden disappearance, which led to the cancellation of his upcoming shows, will be held liable, and that Ford's family will be filing a case against those "behind this conspiracy."

A second update, posted hours after the first, has the talent agency claiming that Ford, quoting a "reliable source," is being "hidden" by a woman, whom they warned of legal implications.

It was back in September when Ford first introduced to the public his new face. Prior, he was the butt of jokes on social media as the flat-nosed, pimple-laden face of the boy group, Hasht5.

In an interview with "Rated K," Ford said that he decided to go under the knife for a fresh start.

"Kasi ako nung ginawa ko 'to ang inisip ko para may kakaiba naman sa 'kin, may iba namang titingnan 'yung tao kasi kumbaga siyempre nakakasawa na," he explained. "Gumawa ako ng ibang paraan, pa-change ako ng name, pa-change ako ng face."

Last month, he faced controversy after he was caught on video insulting Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo.

He has since filed before the police a cyberbullying complaint against the two individuals behind the video.

The backlash, Ford said, resulted in him losing his career.

Reactions to news of his disappearance have been mixed, with some expressing genuine concern for him.

A good many, however, continued on with the insults, with some even suggesting that the announcement from the talent agency was a stunt designed to garner sympathy and attention.
