MANILA – The earnings of the Star Cinema movie “The Unmarried Wife,” starring Angelica Panganiban, Dingdong Dantes and Paulo Avelino, breached the P100-million mark after only six days in theaters.

The figures were announced by the ABS-CBN film outfit via its social media accounts on Tuesday.

The film made P17 million on its opening day last November 16.

During the movie’s press conference, Panganiban said her only wish for her birthday this year is for moviegoers to appreciate their film which they worked hard for.

Directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes, “The Unmarried Wife” follows the story of Anne (Panganiban) and the decisions she has to make after she finds out that her husband Geoff (Dantes) is cheating on her.

As her marriage falls apart, Anne meets Bryan (Avelino), who helps her take away the pain.

“The Unmarried Wife” is the third movie of Panganiban and Dantes together.
