MANILA – Singer-actress Nikki Gil has given birth to her first child.

Local music channel MYX, where Gil started out as a VJ, made the announcement on Monday.

“Hey everyone! Join us in celebrating the birth of VJ Nikki Gil’s healthy baby boy! Congratulations, VJ Nikki and BJ! Love from your MYX family!” MYX said in an Instagram post.

Gil confirmed her pregnancy last July by posting a photo that clearly showed her baby bump.

The singer-actress married businessman BJ Albert in a garden ceremony in Laguna in 2015.
