MANILA -- You can start saving now as British rock band Coldplay may perform in Manila in 2017.

In a Facebook post on Monday night, the band shared a short clip containing the number 2017, followed by drawings of some Asian countries including the Philippines.

While the band has yet to announce the exact date of their Philippine concert, this post has triggered the excitement of fans.

Last April 13, Globe Telecom Head of Music Content Kat Ramnani teased that the Chris Martin-led group will be holding a concert in the country for the first time.

"I've wanted to share this with you all for so long. It's nothing short of Magic that I've been able to keep this a secret . My mom has always said I've had a Head Full of Dreams, but I've learned that big dreams aren't a bad thing; and if you pursue them, will take you on an Adventure of a Lifetime, and give you a taste of Paradise," she wrote on a Facebook post.

"My version is this, Coldplay is FINALLY coming to Manila, proudly sponsored by Globe! There are few things in life that will Fix You, but a night filled with Sky Full of Stars with them might just do it for me. Forever and Always, -Your Princess of China," she added.

The post was later deleted, but a source from Globe Telecom said that Coldplay is preparing to announce the Manila leg of their ongoing world tour promoting their seventh studio album, "A Head Full of Dreams."

Formed back in 1996, Coldplay made hits such as "The Scientist," "Yellow," and "Fix You." The band has garnered more than 62 awards, including seven Grammy wins, and more than 200 nominations.
