It's not often we get to hear Nina sing on national television.

And it's a good thing her duet on Saturday's "I Can See Your Voice" didn't end up turning into a disaster, which would have been the case if she wasn't adept in judging talent purely based on looks.

For the final round, the "Someday" hitmaker was made to choose who the real singer was between a woman who claimed to be a member of an orchestra band and a man who said he sings at funerals.

She went with the latter, but it wouldn't have mattered either way as both were the real deal and had the voice to back up their boasts.

Vilmark Viray said he started joining singing contests at the age of six, but had to put on hold his dreams to make his dad proud and pursue his dream of becoming a licensed engineer.

And now that he is one, Viray said that he wants to sing for more than just grieving families.

He'll get to do just that when he appears in a future episode of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" on "It's Showtime" --part of his prize, along with P25,000 in cash, for being picked by Nina.
