MANILA—Kakai Bautista and Ahron Villena have announced the end of their feud in a Facebook Live video taken by friends while on vacation in Tagaytay.

"Nagkabati na," Villena was heard saying when asked by radio host, DJ Jai Ho, if they got back together in the clip taken last week, before urging them to kiss.

The two were in a playful mood and blew kisses towards one another, but shrugged suggestions that their renewed closeness meant anything other than friendship.

Bautista and Villena were rumored to be a couple back in 2016, but things quickly went sour after the latter suddenly deleted some of his photos with the comedienne on Instagram.

Bautista also made headlines when she joked about Villena's sexuality, which prompted an angry response from the actor.

"Para sa akin isa siyang kaibigan, especially when the time has come that she is able to let go of her other feelings but focus on the great friendship that we had," he said at the time.

"We all know that those words were only uttered because she continues to be hurt for something that never was and never will be."

Last week, Bautista expressed her frustration that her relationship with Villena didn't lead to a romantic one.

She said that they kissed, joking that it felt good in her interview on "Gandang Gabi Vice."
