So from the get-go, when she knew the question was coming, actress Alessandra de Rossi immediately shouted, "Never!"

She insisted during her interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" Friday that there's no chance that she'd be dating director Rico Gutierrez.

Rumors about the two began after they went on a short vacation together to Pangasinan last June.

And while her "never" answer suggested an end to the speculations, it was delivered playfully that even De Rossi admitted to the late night talk show that she wasn't sure if she was being serious or not.

De Rossi was on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" to promote her upcoming movie "Lucid," a Cinema One Originals film. She plays a woman who lives a mundane life but has the ability to control her dreams.

She also talked about her movie with Piolo Pascual which she wrote and directed. It's under the working title "Fuffy and Fream," and she said that it's about a pair of friends whom audiences will want to end up as a couple.
