MANILA - It looks like Julijo Pisk, a former contestant of the defunct ABS-CBN talent search Star Circle Summer Kid Quest, will have to wait a little longer for his big break in showbiz.

On Saturday's episode of "Pinoy Boyband Superstar," Pisk sang Daniel Padilla's "Simpleng Tulad Mo" during his audition. It failed to impress the judges, who told him that while he had the looks to be in a boyband, he needed to hone his vocals.

"Kita ko rin na nervous ka," Korean pop star Sandara Park told the 15-year-old Pisk. "Pero alam ko rin kung anong nararamdaman mo. Konting practice pa kasi 15 ka pa lang naman, marami pang chance in the future."

Vice Ganda added, "You're still so young. You're cute, talented, but for now, there's nothing really extraordinary or extra special na nakikita ko. Pero eventually magblo-bloom din iyan."

Two out of the four judges, which also included Yeng Constantino and Aga Muhlach, downvoted Pisk, halting his move to the second round of the talent search.
