MANILA - Teen actor Grae Fernandez took to Twitter to air his reaction to the news that his father, ex-matinee idol Mark Anthony Fernandez, has been arrested for alleged possession of a kilo of marijuana in Pampanga Monday evening.

On Monday night, police officers found a kilo of the illegal substance, with an estimated street value of P15,000, inside Mark Anthony's car following a car chase with authorities. The actor was arrested in San Fernando, and was later detained at the Station 6 of the Angeles City Police.

The former "Palibhasa Lalake" star admitted to using marijuana but claimed that it is for medical purposes only.

Police said that Mark Anthony, who voluntarily entered a drug rehabilitation center back in 2004 before making a showbiz comeback six months later, may face charges for violating of sections 5, 11 and 15 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

Grae is the eldest son of Mark Anthony with Melissa Garcia Fernandez.
