It appears that Heart Evangelista and former boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga are in very good terms years after their break-up.

Both Matsunaga and Evangelista attended Saturday's Star Magic Ball, where they had a brief talk before hitting the red carpet.

Evangelista also introduced Matsunaga to her husband, Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero, as can be seen in a video posted by website Push on Facebook.

According to Matsunaga, he's happy for Evangelista and Escudero.

"I met them many times na and I'm very happy sa mga blessings na nangyari sa buhay ni Heart ngayon," Matsunaga told ABS-CBN News.

"I'm very happy for them. So many blessings for them -- and for us."

As for his other ex-girlfriend Erich Gonzales, who also attended the Star Magic Ball, Matsunaga insists that they are friends.

"It's very nice to end the relationship being friends," he said, adding that he will say hi to her later in the evening.

"Ako, wala talaga ako problema. Walang issue naman eh," said Matsunaga, who attended the event with his sister Vanessa.
