MANILA -- After trying her very best to save her marriage, comedienne Melai Cantiveros on Friday announced that she is pregnant with her second child.

On "Magandang Buhay," the actress-host confirmed that she's having a baby again with her husband Jason Francisco.

"May bago kaming blessing mag-asawa ni Jason at magiging ate na si Mela. Ten weeks na akong pregnant," Cantiveros said.

"Sobrang saya ko nung nalaman ko na buntis ako. 'Pag-pregnancy test ko unang nakakalam si Mela. Sinabi ko agad kay Jason at sobrang saya niya na madadagdagan ang aming family. So talagang happy family kami," she added.

Cantiveros also stressed there's still a "Melason," the moniker given to her love team with Francisco.

"Sagrado ang kasal kaya pinush namin na maging okay kaming mag-asawa. Thank you Lord. Sobra pinagdaanan namin," she admitted.

Cantiveros shared that after giving each other space and time to heal, they finally accepted what went wrong and decided to patch things up.

In the show, Cantiveros became emotional when her co-hosts Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal, welcomed Francisco in the studio together with their daughter Mela.

"Mahal na mahal ko kayong dalawa (ni Mela) at saka si baby future," said Francisco, who was also emotional.

Last July, Francisco surprised their followers when he announced their relationship has reached an end. In a series of posts, he explained that he and Cantiveros had an initial agreement that she won't have a partner in the series and that she will only have a leading man for the pilot week.

Cantiveros married Francisco in December 2013. The two met inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house during the 2009 season of the hit reality television show.
